| On June 1st, I built a mockup of one section of the accordion wall using the foam panels and a sample of the waterproof nylon fabric we were going to use for the outer skin. The following week I modified and rebuilt the same according wall, with much tighter results. | |

Yurt Test 1
| The initial question we had was whether the accordion-style walls we'd designed would actually stand up. So I built a simple mockup out of cardboard, twine, and paint buckets, and strapped it to our backyard deck. You can see the results below... | |
