Okay so for a few weeks now I've had this CD in my boombox, and when I get sick of whatever's on the local college radio stations and (amazingly enough) whatever's on my iPod, I simply play this CD and the world is a better place again. It's purty pop-rock, with good lyrics (the CD includes the lyrics to all the songs, which is great). In a way they remind me of the Smiths, only more melancholy and less morose. My only complaint about this album is that it's too short.
I heard there's a new Shins album just released-- I should pick it up.
SMS is fun!
Eh, I came down with some kind of cold last night. During the past few days I've distinctly noticed several people with slammin' sneezes, sneezing in my general direction. So one of those bastards must've ensickenified me.
Today I stayed home sick, continued working on KABLOG, and watched "View From the Top". Not a bad movie, but not that great either. Mike Meyers plays a flight attendant instructor, and Gwenyth dons a plethora of smashing flight attendant outfits. Yay!
